USD 343 is proud to announce that the district has earned a Copper Star in "Individual Plans of Study" from the Kansas State Department of Education and the Kansas Board of Education as part of the 2025 Kansans Can Recognition Program. USD 343 is one of only 48 school districts in Kansas to be honored with a Star in this area!

On 11/13/25 PLHS will be having a blood drive. I have 2 seniors who are working extremely hard to help me organize this. Please come out and support them. Our goal last year was 50 and we surpassed at 52 pints. This allowed for $500 scholarship to be handed out to a senior. This year our goal is 100, this will allow for $750 scholarship. Let's come together as a community to support not only saving lives, but add a scholarship for our seniors!
