Congrats to Mr. Matt Anguiano, PLHS Agriculture teacher, on being recently named "Young Teacher of the Year" and "Outstanding Early Career Teacher" by the Kansas Association of Agricultural Educators!

7th and 8th grade took advantage of the massive amounts of snow and warmth on Friday and made snow paint!
Students were inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, an artist who makes sculptures using only materials found in nature. PLMS artists had a great time exploring this creative process!

Fun things are happening in p.e. with Mrs. Robertson!
Our 3rd and 4th graders worked hard creating their gymnastics routines at the end of our unit and we wanted to share. Although they crushed it, you might notice they are a BIT faster than real life. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Justin Booth and Phoenix Hamlet in being named finalists for the Rudd Scholar Program. This is a state-wide scholarship program that recognizes students who display outstanding grit, work ethic, and determination. This is a remarkable achievement, and we are thrilled to celebrate the hard work and determination of these two students. Great Job Phoenix and Justin and good luck with the next round of this scholarship program!
