It is that time of the school year. Teachers and students are preparing to begin the annual round of state assessments in all public Kansas schools. The first round of assessments will begin on March 24th as students in grades 3-8, and 10th will take Math and ELA assessments. Students in grades 5, 8, and 11 will take the Science Assessment. Students in grades 6, 8, and 11 will take the History/Government Assessment. As we get closer to the test dates, I’m sure you child’s school will send out more specifics on the test date and times.
As with any type of assessment, we recommend students get a good night of sleep the night before the test, a healthy breakfast the morning of the test, and of course make sure they are at school the day of the test, (unless they are sick).
