We now have eight positive cases and 28 quarantines. Two of the positive cases are at Perry Elementary, one at Lecompton Elementary and the other five are at Perry-Lecompton Middle School. The positive percentage rates in Douglas and Jefferson Counties continue to be a concern, as they continue to rise. The Douglas County positive percentage rate is 13.9%. The Jefferson County positive percentage rate is 12.18%. (An average of 13.04%)
The USD 343 COVID-19 testing clinic is located at the District Office (205 W. Bridge Street). The clinic is available to all USD 343 students and staff. Testing appointments are available from 7:45 am. to 8:15 am. We ask that you schedule your appointment by contacting the district office the day before taking a COVID-19 test at 785-597-5138 or email jblosser@usd343.org. Test results are usually available in 15 minutes for antigen tests and 30 minutes for PCR tests.
