Parents as Teachers Information

Do you have a child under the age of 3? If so, you should check out Parents as Teachers.
Parents as Teachers is a free program provided by USD 343.
Parents as Teachers offers personal visits for families at a time that works for you, your child, and the parent educator.
Personal visits include developmental information, ideas for you to use to encourage development, a time for you to talk about concerns or ask questions, and a time to share observations about your child.
Parents as Teachers offers Play groups- a time for your child to play with other children, and a time for you to get to know other parents, as well as receive information on child development.
Parents as Teachers offers Developmental Screenings, as well as Health, Vision, Hearing, and Dental Screenings. These are done in your home during a personal visit.
Parents as Teachers offers a Resource Network- your Parent Educator will let you know what resources are out there and available for your child and family.
Please call, text, or email Angie Bloom Perry Lecompton Parent Educator for information on how to enroll in the PAT program. 785-215-4404 abloom@keystonelearning.org
The early years of a child's life are critical for optimal development and provide the foundation for success in school and in life. You are your child's first and most influential teacher.
