Mr. Kevin Daniels to Join the PLMS 6th Grade Team

Mr. Kevin Daniels will join the 6th grade team teaching English Language Arts and Reading. Mr. Daniels is originally from Kent, Washington and attended Kentridge High School. For secondary school he attenended Manhattan Christian College, The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, and Kansas State University. Mr. Daniels has spent the last year working as a 4th grade teacher in Hays, KS at O'Loughlin Elementary School.

Mr. Daniels is moving to the area with his wife, Lori, and two children, Logan and Kamryn, to be closer to other family members. As a family they enjoy geocaching, watching movies, playing pickleball, exploring new areas and parks, playing board games, and Lego building/collecting.

When asked why he wanted to be a teacher Mr. Daniels said "I want to help students enjoy school! There are tough things going on in our lives and the world around us but I want to help create a safe and fun space where students can learn what they need to know in order to be successful in their futures, but also enjoy the present!" He enjoys the students, other teachers, and staff when it comes to education it's about the people!

Mr. Daniels is looking forward to meeting the students, staff, and faculty of PLMS and knows it is going to be a great year!

Welcome to the PLMS Family!
