Pat Zimmerman Retires After 27 Years with USD 343
Pat Zimmerman has always focused on the relationships she has with students, parents, and her staff family at PLMS. During her 27 year career in education Mrs. Zimmerman spent time at Williamstown Elementary School, Grantville Elementary School, and Perry-Lecompton Middle School. During that time she has reached hundreds of students and shared in their experiences like building a model of Jamestown with her class or going to a national conference to bring knowledge back to the other teachers in the buildings. It is these relationships and experiences that Mrs. Zimmerman will miss the most.
During her retirement Mrs. Zimmerman plans to spend as much time as she can with her wonderful husband Bill. She also plans to spend time with her new grandson, time reading something other than books for school, and doing whatever she feels like doing!
Teaching has been an adventure for Mrs. Zimmerman for the last 27 years and we wish her much luck on her new adventure in retirement. Thank you for the memories Mrs. Zimmerman and for all that you have done for USD 343.
