2020-2021 School Transportation Information

USD #343 will expect parents or guardians to check their student’s temperature prior to boarding the bus.  Temperatures will be taken by school personnel upon arriving at school buildings.  Students with a temperature at or above 100.4 will be held in an isolation room until the parent is able to arrange for pick-up or give the approval to allow a student to drive home.

Students riding the bus will be assigned a seat on the bus to assure drivers know which students are within a six feet radius of one another.  Family members are expected to set together while riding the school bus.

As of August 17th, drivers were completing route planning for the start of school.  Parents are expected to receive a phone call from your driver by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 18th.  If parents do not receive a call, please call USD #343 Transportation Director, Rhett Scrimsher at 785-597-5124 ext. 1012.
