Familiar Faces in New Places at PLMS
As you walk through the halls of PLMS this year you might see some familiar faces in some new roles!
Mr. Jordan Allen began his career at USD 343 in the 2013-14 school year. He has taught 5th grade, 6th grade math and science, and 7/8th grade science at PLMS. During the 2020-21 school year Mr. Allen will take on the 7/8th grade mathematics courses.
Lynn Boyd joined us last semester at PLMS as a paraprofessional and will continue to work in the office as well as in the classrooms for the 2020-21 school year.
Mrs. Pam Powers has taken a position as the Title 1 Reading and Mathematics teacher. Mrs. Powers has taught 5th grade and 6th grade in our district since joining us in the 2018-19 school year.
Mrs. Kelsey Singleton joined the KAW family in the 2013-14 school year and has been the PE teacher at PLES and for our 5/6th grade students. She will be joining the PLMS Staff full time teaching 7/8th grade Health/PE.
Mr. Jared Swafford is a 2002 graduate of PLHS and has been teaching business classes at the high school since the 2010-11 school year. He is making the move to PLMS to help our 5/6th grade students stay healthy and active in PE.
Ms. Macy Wallisch taught 6th grade math, science, and the CSI elective at PLMS during her first year of teaching at PLMS. Next school year she will be teaching 7/8th grade science classes.
Mrs. Casey Webb became a KAW in the 2018-19 school year and will be a familiar face to many of our students! She will be joining the PLMS Staff from PLES as our Counselor for grades 5-8.
