Sarah Stallings Joins the PLMS 6th Grade Team
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMs. Sarah Stallings will join the 6th grade team teaching Science and Mathematics. This will be Ms. Stallings first year teaching after her student teaching at Walnut Elementary and North Lyon County. She wanted to become a teacher after watching her own 3rd grade teacher go the extra mile in setting an example of what an amazing teacher looks like and made her want to do the same for other children.
Ms. Stallings enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being active and playing sports, and crafting. She grew up playing volleyball, softball, golf and basketball. When crafting she likes to restore old pieces or create DIY projects.
When asked what she enjoys the most about being a teacher, Ms. Stallings responded by saying "creating relationships with each student and seeing the growth made throughout the year whether it is inside or outside the classroom." She is looking forward to starting her educational career with USD 343 and becoming a member of the community and growing as a teacher.
