Assessment schedules have been set by individual buildings and must fall within the state established assessment window which runs from March 13 through April 27. When viewing our schedule, you may notice that we must deal with lost time due to Spring Break as well as purposely leave the last week of April open for make-up assessments. Even with that last week open, we often run into difficulty assuring that all students complete the assessments. Please help by making every attempt to have your child in school on designated appropriate grade level state assessment dates. It is also recommended that parents bookmark the following link for future reference. The link contains ALL district-wide state assessment dates. State Assessment Dates

In an effort to ensure that each student can perform to the best of his or her ability on testing days, our teachers continually work hard to create lessons that meet established state standards in assigned subject areas. Families can help in this important aspect of our district's success by watching for notes from the schools about testing dates and trying hard to have students at school on the scheduled days.  Additionally, making an extra effort to ensure your child gets plenty of rest the night before and a nutritious breakfast the morning of all assessment dates will be beneficial. Together, families and school district personnel can partner to plan for a successful state assessment experience.

Questions regarding your child’s assessments can be directed to their teacher or building test coordinator.  Building test coordinators are: PLHS – Tracey Paramore; PLMS – Beth Hupe and PLES – Connie Thornton. Additionally, you may contact the district test coordintor, Josh Woodward .
