February 04, 2018

From January 29 to February 2nd, the Perry-Lecompton High School students filled their school days with "Spirit Week Activities" along with a Pep Assembly on Friday afternoon that challenged the King and Queen Winter Royalty Candidates as well as the Junior Attendants to various games and fun activities.

During the halftime of the boys' basketball game on February 2nd vs the Royal Valley Panthers, the PLHS Student Council sponsored the Winter Royalty Cermony which included King Candidates Kyle Bonham, Landon Johnson and Ty Packard and Queen Candidates Ella Barrett, Kenzie Elliott, and Hannah Korth.  Junior attendants were Talisa Stone with Dalton Kellum along with Nicole Seichepine with Shane Quinlan.

The 2017 Winter Royalty King Isaac Christman and 2017 Winter Royalty Queen Hayley Peine were assisted by Princess Ellie Wade, daughter of Tyler and Annie Wade, and Prince Cason Cox, son of Michael and Amanda Cox, as they crowned 2018 Winter Royalty King Ty Packard and Queen Kenzie Elliott, as selected by the Perry-Lecompton High School student body.

The evening concluded with a Winter Royalty dance sponsored by the PLHS student council.

Congratulations to Ty and Kenzie!
