Senior Athletes Recognized
Seniors on the Perry-Lecompton High School football team played their final home game of the season on Thursday evening. The Kaws beat the Oskaloosa Bears in a convincing fashion 63 - 0 in front of an appreciative home crowd. Prior to the game starting, the seniors and parents were introduced and the fans cheered and applauded the players in recognition of their great effort this season. Congratulations to Kyle Bonham, Ike Dwyer, Tyler Erickson, Joel Guess, Landon Johnson, Brad Mallonee, Toby Meyer, Ty Packard, Mason Robb, Mason Rodie,Corey Shackelford and Thomas Taylor. Good luck as you advance in post-season play!
Seniors participating in other fall sports along with their parents were recognized during halftime of the football game between PLHS and Oskaloosa. Seniors competing in Cross Country include: Hunter Barnes, Canaan Daniels, Mackenzie Elliott and Josh LeClair. Seniors representing PLHS in tennis include: Ella Barrett and Marigold Reumund. PLHS seniors finished up their season last weekend and include: Mackenzie Charay, Cara Coleman, Lyndee Kelley, Mykiah McDaniel and Jacalyn Supernaw-Marcum.
