Innovation in Education Grants Support Learning

The USD #343 Perry-Lecompton Schools Endowment Association recently awarded district teachers with Innovation in Education Grants totaling nearly $5,000.

Innovation in Education Grants were established by the Endowment Association three years ago to encourage innovative projects in USD #343 classrooms and schools.

The USD #343 Perry-Lecompton Schools Endowment Association provides annual student scholarships in addition to supporting USD #343 teachers through the Hupe Teaching Excellence Award and Innovation in Education Grants.

Innovation in Education Grants were given to the below listed teachers and school which supported the purchase of the following items:

Rita Lesser 10 - 30” leaf rakes    $110.00
Eryn Norton Vernier Dynamics System $1,614.00
Thomas Cooprider 2 - Organic Chem. Glassware Sets $1,325.70
Perry Elementary 2 - LCD Projectors $1,351.98
