PLMS Principal Selected for Leadership Institute

USD #343 is proud to announce Josh Woodward, PLMS principal, has been selected to join current and aspiring leaders from 27 Kansas school districts to participate in Greenbush Leadership Institute for the 2010-2011 school year.
Greenbush Leadership Institute is a year-long professional development and networking program for aspiring and practicing Kansas school leaders.
Hosted at the Greenbush of Topeka facility at Forbes Field, Greenbush Leadership Institute brings in school leaders, university leaders, specialists, and partners in the private sector to provide meaningful and beneficial day-long professional development activities for participants once per month.
Josh began his career in education as a physical education teacher in USD #343 and taught for 11 years at PLMS prior to teaching in the Basehor-Linwood School District for seven years. He returned to PLMS in 2007 and served three years as the assistant principal and Director of Student Support Services. Josh is beginning his first year of service as the Perry-Lecompton Middle School principal.
